The Butt FREE City campaign will kick off on 17 May. The campaign will again tackle cigarette butt littering behaviour in partnershp with local government with this year's message 'Butt Littering. It's Not a Good Look.'
The campaign will also see the release of the 'Not a Good Look' campaign website to educate litterers and non-litterers about the environmental impacts of butt littering, challenge typical excuses and offer delivery of a free personal ashtray. It also enable those sick of seeing butts everywhere to to something about it.
This year nine champion cities - Brisbane, Canberra, Gosford, Melbourne, Mildura, Parramatta, Port Adelaide Enfield, Townsville and Wollongong - will also deliver face-to-face educations on the streets and gain commitment to the call to action "PLEASE BUTT IT, THEN BIN IT".
Other Councils and organisations can support the campaign by contacting Butt Free Australia to obtain a small webtile for their own site.
