Butt FREE City 2010 took the ‘Not a Good Look’ message to the streets this week in 9 cities across Australia: Brisbane, Canberra, Gosford (NSW), Melbourne, Mildura (VIC), Port Adelaide Enfield (SA), Parramatta, Townsville(QLD) and Wollongong.
Cities used an innovative approach of ground and bin decals in known littering hotspots to bring to the attention of litterers and non-litterers the availability of free personal ashtrays from the new “Not a Good Look’ website.
Other support was provided by broadsheet, scooter and radio advertisements.

Most cities had education desks where fact sheets, flyers, posters and free personal ashtrays could be collected in return for a pledge to ‘butt it, then bin it’.
Cities reported a great response to the education desks, many discovered that instead of chasing people for education, it was them being chased this year!
